Alphabet Images:
Each letter of the alphabet contains images similar in format
to these 'A' pictures - colored clip art or photos. They are
uniform in size so they can be cut and stacked easily.
|
|
Alphabet Sets: Here
are two examples of the alphabet sets included. Again, these
are full page size.
|
|
Color Alphabet -
Original drawings. These contain only 4 cells per horizontal
page, making them bigger for whole class learning as well as
in literacy centers. They look compressed here on the sample
page because they are being made to fit into this table.

horizontal page. These are perfect to use in preparing student
materials, like alphabet books.

entertaining, appealing to their interests, and an easy
alphabet connection can be made.

The World of Ants by Melvin Berger
An Apple a Day by Melvin Berger
B - Berenstain Bears books by Stan and Jan Berenstain

Ideas for Literacy
Centers: Only 1 of 12 ideas.
1. Make the
Alphabet:
-
Have each
alphabet printed and separated into small Baggies or wrapped
with elastics. Children can take a package and put them into
alphabetical order.
-
Use a clothes
line and children can hang the letters in order with
clothespins.
-
For a challenge
have them try to make it backwards.
-
To support
earlier stages, have some letters in place and child can
complete missing spaces.
